Day 1: Arrival in Mathura & Beginning the Yatra

Your sacred journey begins upon your arrival in Mathura. After checking into your hotel, we will proceed to Vishram Ghat on the banks of the Yamuna to take a holy dip or sankalpa (oath) to begin the Yatra. We will then visit the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple (Lord Krishna’s birthplace) and the vibrant Dwarkadheesh Temple.

Today, we delve into the traditional Parikrama route, visiting the sacred forests near Mathura. We will travel to Madhuvan, where the air is still sweet with the memory of Krishna’s presence, followed by Talvan and Kumudvan. Each forest has its own unique stories and temples associated with Krishna and his companions.

A day dedicated to the mighty Govardhan Hill. We will perform the 21 km Parikrama by car. Along the way, we will stop at sacred sites like the Dan-Ghati Mandir, Mansi Ganga, and Kusum Sarovar. We will also visit the holy ponds of Radha Kund and Shyam Kund, considered the most sacred spots in the universe by devotees.

We travel to the western part of Braj to visit Kamyavan, one of the most important and largest forests of the Yatra, filled with numerous temples and kunds. In the afternoon, we will visit the nearby town of Deeg in Rajasthan, known for its magnificent water palaces built by Jat rulers.

Today is dedicated to the homes of the divine couple. We will visit Barsana, the village of Radha Rani, and climb the steps to the beautiful Shriji Temple. Afterward, we travel to Nandgaon, the home of Krishna’s foster father, Nand Baba, to seek blessings at the historic Nand Bhavan Temple.

We proceed towards Vrindavan, stopping en route at Kokilavan to visit the famous Shani Dev Temple. Legend says Lord Krishna gave darshan to Shani Dev here in the form of a cuckoo (Koyal). In the evening, we will arrive in Vrindavan and check into our hotel, followed by a visit to the beautifully illuminated Prem Mandir.

A full day dedicated to exploring the spiritual capital of Braj, Vrindavan. We will navigate the narrow lanes to get darshan at the Banke Bihari Temple, visit the ancient Radha Vallabh and Radha Raman temples, and experience the mystical atmosphere of Nidhivan. We will also visit the ISKCON Temple.

On our final day, we explore the sites of Krishna’s early childhood. We visit Gokul, where he was secretly raised, and Mahavan. We will then proceed to Baldeo to visit the famous Dauji Temple, dedicated to Krishna’s elder brother, Balaram. With the blessings of the completed Yatra, we will drop you at Mathura for your onward journey.
